Black Rose Seeds
I planted the seeds out across two planter boxes that I made using styrofoam vegetable boxes that I sourced from my local supermarket. The seeds took about 10 days to germinate and small green shoots began to emerge. After another 14 days there were roughly 30 small rose plants that had grown to a height of about 40 cms. Those plants have continued to thrive - I have kept 10 here for myself and the remaining plants were potted up individually and given to friends and neighbours. So from 50 seeds we achieved a 60% strike rate - an excel lament result given that the price was so low and came with free postage.

A double vinyl LP worth every penny.
I am rebuilding my vinyl LP collection after a number of years. When I discovered that brand new records were available from bands that I grew up with in the 60's I was a bit skeptical. But the guys at Record Shed changed my thinking. The Dire Straits album is fantastic and when the sound is pumped through a pair of high quality speakers it's like having Mark Knopfler in the same room. Strongly recommend this album to Dire Straits fans - for a small outlay you get 2 quality vinyl albums that will last a lifetime.
