I was surprised not to see a brushed finish as Nakamichi does, but the finish is well done, and, in a cabinet, you won't see it anyway, the venting is important. It was very well packaged and arrived in perfect condition, nothing bent or warped. With the cost of materials and CNC time I would say the asking price would be indicative of a retail price. Having spent most of my professional life quoting automotive parts and tooling.

LG UBK90 Great unit..........>!
Great Player for the money, picture quality is incredible. The only drawback of this player is it does not decode DTS 5.1 DVD Audio correctly. This is an old format, and no longer in production this is probably a direct result of that. It is so sad that the format is gone, besides SACD it it probably one of the best formats on the planet for listening to Discrete 5.1 audio.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This unit will play 4k content, but on board it only up-scales to 2160, your receiver has to do the rest of the work.
