SA Mic vs SM58
Used this instead of SM58 as the gains on the Shure had to be jacked way up just to be audible. One of the band suggested this mic as an inexpensive alternative to the 58 and that it would perform fine for rock gigs. Didn't have to jack up the gains on this. It handled a live rock gig just fine! This didn't have an on/off switch, but I don't mind, as some vocals using mics with switches were sung into an 'off' mic. Just have to keep it G rated when speaking around this mic. It's not as heavy as the SM58, but I think that's because the Shure is filled with wax or something to deaden the sound of things touching it. I hope it's durable as the SM58.

No need to add a rock in basket anymore to weigh down! Great design!
I was putting rocks in my old skimmer baskets and had to remove the metal crossbar in order to place the hose plate. This product eliminates the need to do that. Highly recommend!

AC Adapter works fine with Yamaha YPG-235 keyboard
Great price. Will use extension cord with it to reach outlet as it is not very long (about 4').
