It's a cable...
This is a charging and data cable for my iPod Classic. I put a new battery and replaced the hard drive with an xd chip. The iPod works great now. This cable works great and was a good price. I play the music from the iPod through a tube driven hifi that I built myself. And finally through some old JBL speakers. The tones are so warm and true. Much better than through my phone.
