Not very heat resistant
I used them to get hot trays out of the oven. Yes they are heat resistant. But not as heat resistant as a tea towel doubled over. I have no experience of welding so can`t make an objective comment about that. I do have experience of a log burner and these would not be suitable for that. I would have returned them but they were damaged when I used them to get the tray out of the oven.

All Good
I bought this to replace another Errator which was a different model. I had that one for 16 years so it a great bit of kit. best thing was it fitted on the old connections so took 5 minutes to fit and of course I got shed loads of brownie points.

Brilliant guide
This was a pressie for the wife. I must say I learned a vast amount and am very happy with the book. It is laid out in a logical manners so is easy to understand
