Does the job to perfection
Another excellent sewing machine attachment. Fits my Brother Innovis by removing the clip on shank. Purchased to make adding piping easier and it does the job to perfection. And considerably cheaper than the branded equivalent.

So good, I bought more of them
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich First - this type of bottle topper is not intended to be used on the plastic milk jugs as bought in the supermarket. They won't fit; they're not intended to fit. These tops are intended for glass milk bottles. As delivered by a good old-fashioned milkman(woman) or from the farm gate. If you're looking for something to go on top of your supermarket milk jugs, these items will not do what you want.
Just wanted to clear that up as I see this item gets marked down for this when it's not the item's fault.
This is the second time I've purchased these - they're not expensive so I was happy to buy more having had time to test the first 2 I bought.
They're made of a flexible plastic that mostly fits snugly on top of a glass milk bottle which enables one to pour from a full milk bottle without spilling milk over the work surface. They aren't a 100% fit which is why I've marked them down by 1 star (because I didn't have the option of dropping half a star). Because of the way they're designed, when one pours the milk and then put the bottle back in the fridge, a small amount of milk runs down the cover and drips out the back. Which then leaves a mess on the door shelf. However this can be mitigated by placing a bit of kitchen paper on the shelf to soak up the drips.
Apart from that - they're dishwasher safe (top shelf); which is why I now have several of them so I have enough to keep me going between dishwasher loads and are a huge improvement on trying to keep the foil top on the bottle for 2 or 3 days, which as we all know is virtually impossible.

Excellent value for money - buy with confidence that it will do the job well.
I wasn't entirely sure about this product before I ordered it, but having recently had a new kitchen installed and only having a very small kitchen I wanted something that would take up less room on the work-surface and not limit me to half a dozen knives in pre-ordained slots. And this fits the bill. I was a little concerned that being oval and not very wide,it wouldn't be very stable, but even though I have to move it out from under my wall cabinet in order to remove the larger knives there's no feeling that it will topple over. And it slides quite easily when I want to move it, but stays put when I don't.
Despite the product description saying it holds 6 - 8 knives, I've go 11 in there - including my bread knife, chef's knives and my cheese knife. I've also got one of my potato peelers in there so it's conveniently to hand when I need it. I will say it's not quite long enough for my bread knife, there's about 2cm of blade visible but all the knives are held firmly (including the bread knife) with no indication that they want to slide about in the holder.
I've not tried one of the more expensive ones but I can't see that they'd be any different so I would say buy this with confidence that it's not a case of 'buy cheap, buy twice'.
