SEXY
This is my go to intermediate travel lens, when folks say HEY come on out... this is the lens I take, when I see something in transition that I need to shoot quickly, this is the lens I take, when I am at a show and just need a few shots to remember the moment or promote my services, this is the lens I take. well worth the money, despite the annoying reverse zoom-turn direction when compared to a standard Canon lens. AND as the name of the lens indicates... when its time to zoom in and get DETAIL shots, of eyes, lips, rings, fabric, or whatever... THIS is the lens I take.

Strong will last for years - just buy it
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich absolutely the one thing I NEVER ever leave without for any photoshoot at any time. worth the cash, get two and make your white backgrounds disappear... (make sure you have enough light to push this.... wont work outdoors with one flashgun -too soft. You need studio power or multiple flashes.)

You better care for this lens!! - BUY it but be careful.
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich It does have the metalized outer skin but the lens boy is so short that all the gold contacts, on the camera-side attachment, and the plastic of the lens front makes this lens feel like an unboiled egg, until it is attached to the camera..... THEN it is tougher, more rigid and gets absorbed by the girth of my full size camera body with the battery grip.... I love this lens and when or if it gives way to my fears, I will buy another. Unmatched for the price, I use it for my bargain wide angle on my second body or my go to always with me easy to use WYSIWYG video recording lens..... WORTH THE CASH.
oh yeah light wieght with good features.
