Gumstick battery type brings my portable Disc Sony Walkman CD player back to life

Good, compact 220/100 volt auto step down transformer
A compact, easy to travel with 110 V transformer that handles up to 50 watts. Just be sure to pack some plug adaptors for it for the many different outlet types one can encounter overseas, some of which are also recessed.

4 dial combo lock a good deal
This lock is of high quality and looks classy on my luggage. It feels solid and very well made. It is listed as being constructed of copper and the 4 dial combo give a much greater security then the 3 dial type. The only reason that I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that it is not a TSA approved lock. Also the quality of it makes it slightly heav--if you are wanting to cut back on a few grams of weight that is.
There may be some situations where one actually PREFERS a non-TSA lock. Then this one is recommended without reservation.
