Better than some more expensive options
4 von 4 finden das hilfreich For the money, a good unit. Metal faceplate, easy to operate, and it's six disc, not 5. The performance is improved by inclusion of an outboard d/a converter (I use a Marantz DAC). Originally ordered a Yamaha piece, but returned (shoddy build, less feature options & cost twice as much) & replaced with this Onkyo. Recommended.

Good now, better before.
I bought a few pairs 2 years ago. Nice fit, light fabric weight (good), good stitching work, all fine.
The 2 pairs bought recently were of the same build quality but were twice as wide in the leg as
the previous purchase, making for a bit of a 'clown pants' look to them. These I wear at home only.

Not your grandpa's Mullards. And that's ok.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich While they are not the NOS Mullards from days gone by, they are an excellent substitute, and when you are re-tubing a PrimaLuna HP Integrated these reissues will save you a small fortune.
Very minimal tube noise emanates from your speakers and the dimensional background of the soundstage is well realized. Very happy with the results.
Update: tubes have broken since I wrote this review. Dead quiet tubes with a huge black background.
