Great game for family/friends!

I've played many of the installations of Guitar Hero, and though the concept of these games is basically identical to that of Rock Band, the presentation and execution seems much better with Rock Band. It seems that the controls are much more precise than that of the competition, making playing the guitar seem much more realistic. That leads to the only negative that I have found with Rock Band - the guitar. The guitar included is attractive and its larger size is a welcome change from Guitar Hero, however the buttons feel softer and less responsive when pressed. The same goes for the paddle. The Rock Band guitar has some great features and feels good to hold, but it is simply not as easy to use as the guitars that come with Guitar Hero.
Gameplay is fun and entertaining. It is likely that one could play this game for hours with a group of friends, and it is a good way to do something fun with the family as well. There are over 40 songs included in the initial release of the game, and there is a large library of downloadable content, all of which is available when you take your band on tour in the game. This all adds up to a good time for a long time to come.
Rock Band will not disappoint!
