Not what I was expecting.
I'll start by saying these are top quality sheets. We have a thick pillow top mattress. Several years ago I purchased a set of Ralph Lauren sheets, and it was the one set of sheets in my closet that I didn't have to pull and tug to get around the mattress. Either Durham wasn't the line I purchased before, or they changed their sheets, but these were not nearly as soft and smooth as the old set, nor did it fit the mattress as well as my old set did. They are large enough that I can tuck them under the mattress, but the fitted sheet is just a bit shorter and narrower than the old set. These sheets have a nice sheen to them, the fabric is substantial, and the color and overall quality is fine, For the price I expected them to fit better, and have softer feel.
