Perfect for whetstone flattening
This #140 Atoma diamond plate works great for flattening my Naniwa Professional /Chosera stones.
Went with #140 over #400 after seeing the post on Reddit suggesting that it helps release fresh abrasives more quickly (search for post mentioning Mr. Jon Broida Japanese Knife Imports on r/sharpening).
Got the version with the handle and love it, the handle makes working with the plate more convenient. Highly recommended!
