A multitude of Doctors
A must see for Dr Who fans of all ages as it brings many of the doctors together with their various foibles. A piece of nostaglia that is dated as is most of the original Dr Who series that cannot compete with the budgets and special effects of today, but nice to see so many doctors, plus a smattering of assistants, gathered together, although blink and you might miss Tom Baker.

The best version of this Agatha Christie story
I really like this film. Made in 1997 before the ITV Jane Marple effort and the more recent dire BBC job, this one sticks more faithfully to Agatha Christie's novel.
It is set in the swinging 60s. Some of the shots might by today's digital standards be a little grainy but look past that to the quality of the writing and the performances - Colin Buchanan, Hermione Norris, Jayne Ashbourne, Leslie Phillips, Andy Sirkis, Ruth Maddock, Jean Marsh, Louise Jameson - an all star cast.
Perfect Saturday evening entertainment. Sheer bliss.

good period detective drama
I remembered watching this when it was first on TV. Peter Carmichael is excellent as lord Peter Whimpsey. It may have dated slightly as regards TV production, but still extremely watchable. Good clean family entertainment, would recommend to anyone for a good Saturday night viewing, settle down with a pint of beer or couple glasses of wine and enjoy.
