KD-49X720E Pretty Good Entry Level 4k HDTV
Great detail in 4k and 1080. Decent at 720. Contrast ratio could be better. Going through the setup menus is not all that intuitive, but manageable. Not many apps included. I use a 5.1 home theater sound system, so not much to say about the audio. Owner's Manual is so-so.

Two Different Screen Formats on One DVD?
I bought this for the Gator flick. I was disappointed to discover that Semi-Tough is widescreen but Gator is full screen. Whose dumb idea was that? My fault for not paying close enough attention.

Loc-Tite Does The Job
Like all Loc-Tite products, this stuff is Bad-A$$. Had stripped threads in a cast iron cylinder head where the intake manifold bolts on. After making the repair per instructions, I was able to get 15 ft-lbs. of torque on a 3/8-16 bolt with no sign of eminent re-stripping. Good enough. The last time I used this was about 25 years ago. It did a great job in a similar situation. I recommend using something like tetrachloroethylene - a.k.a. perchlorethylene (the nonflammable type of brake parts cleaner) to clean the threads to be repaired.
