Alternative materials for US History
I tutor foster kids. I have several who are struggling with US history. I have learned a bit from just reading the book and it gives me another resource outside their textbooks.

So good I had to keep a copy and get one to give away
With text by Julie Watts and notes on the illustrations by Graeme Base this is a great way to understand the artist behind the wonderful children's books. I bought a copy thinking I would give it away after I read it. I had to buy a second copy because didn't want to give it up.

Love the Bakeshop mysteries
I love this whole series. Great likable characters and more to the plot than just the murder mystery. The fact that I love to bake also draws me to these books.
