A neat and well performing Desktop.
I was forced into buying a Windows 10 machine due to software which ONLY worked under this operating system. Personally I hate it and have major reservations about its data trawling, automatic and untransapent upgrades/updates and much else that is hidden from users. But this is a sleek good looking machine that performs well and does everything I hope it would do.
I am completely satisfied with it. There are a resonable number of ports and the sound quality is better than expected. I am using it for musical DAW software (sequencing live and Midi signals) and it performs seamlessly.

The Brandenburgs as they should sound!
This is one of the very few recordings where the proper instruments are used. How many times have we heard No.4 with two flutes? Not here. And to my ears it's not just an academic exercise. It actually sounds different subtly too. Personally I like the restrained performances which are straightforward, unfussy and without some of the quirkiness other performers bring to these works. Above all, second to its instrumental authenticity, I like the measured speeds. There was a spate of 'how fast can we take it' with some of these movements not so long ago. Not here. The music is allowed to just breathe naturally. They won't be to everyone's tastes but there has to be room in all the countless recordings of these works for something that follows Bach's actual instrumentation and doesn't impose some stylistic quirks on to something that should vbe a joy to experience. Pity this recording is so hard to get hold of!
