What can I say for five bucks?
What can I say...it cost five bucks. Obviously I'm not going to find a functional Snap-on for that price. Or even a "Craftsman." Or Stanley, Irwin, etc. But for something that I'll use maybe once a year, I think it should work ok. It at least survived this years' usage anyhow :)
Overall it feels about how you'd expect, pretty cheaply made. I'm afraid that if I put too much stress on it, the little pegs that the clips hook into will snap off. Or, the pins on the end of the jaws will snap off. I'm assuming that's why they include so many pairs. If you're going to need one to use with any regularity, I'd probably upgrade to a higher-quality model.
But if you're like me and will only need to use this maybe once a year, when you actually want to put the snap rings back onto something, this should probably do ok for you.

I'm honestly surprised at how well these seem to be built.
The metal is thick, and it clamps tightly to the DIN rail. Fits crydom relays fine as well.

Better than the original
I'm not sure if this is an actual official Raspberry Pi case, but it at least it looks like the official one. With that said, something that I haven't seen in the pictures of the official one, but that comes with this one, is a nice translucent slotted plastic piece that fits in the area above where the hats go. The thing that's nice about this, is that it has slots to let the heat out. Which is really awesome, since the Raspberry Pi 3 tens run warmer than the others.
