Retaining Strap poorly made.
Biggest Problem - The small strip on the bottom of the case is made of very thin bonded leather - two layers bonded together. Less than a week after putting the case into service, that strap split and the cosmetic top later split away from the rest, a problem both cosmetically and for the strength and life of the strap. If the strap was a superficial addition to the case it wouldn't be a big deal but that is not the case. The strap is critical to the features of the case, and once the strap breaks (and it will be soon) there is no way to hold the Ipod in the case. It will slip out of the bottom....

It may not be what you expect, but it is what you hoped for. Great product.
Love these features:
1) When closed, headphone jack is very accessible. Many other designs are not.
2) The snap is secure/firm but not crazy-difficult to remove when you need to.
3) The finish is great. White is white and the craftsmanship is very good as well.

Seals were as described. I pulled the old CO2 seal out (which was leaking) and replaced it with the new one. Durometer of the new is harder than the old. The leak was worse with the new one than with the old. And because removal of the old seal was a destructive process, I now have a pistol which is completely unusable. Can't use the old and can't use the new.
