The Civil War 100
Excellent, brief overviews of the most important events and people of The Civil War. A terrific book for expanding your knowledge of the war, as well as introducing you to areas you might find worthy of further or specific inquiry. A great addition to any Civil War library.

Superior research and writting
Interesting story of how the Wrecking Crew came together, with essential information on the motivation, efforts, and paths to success on the many great musicians who have contributed so much to American popular music. Also includes great stories of how many well-known songs were put together. Glen Campbell, Leon Russell, Phil Spector, Billy Strange, Hal Blaine, Carol Kaye, Plas Johnson, Barney Kessell, and many more -- they're all here, from the glory days of the Wrecking Crew, to their gradual replacement by younger musicians as musical tastes changed, and more performing artists played their own instruments.
This book stands on its own, but also goes well with the documentary by the same name done by the son of legendary studio guitarist Tommy Tedesco.
