Crappy turbocharger
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich After 30 years as a shop owner and mechanic I have plenty of experience with turbo installation so I replaced the oil feed line to the turbo as well. After 5 months the turbo is smoking and makes noise and has no power. The 1 year warranty apparently has no real value since they are "sorry" for my problem but they will sell me another turbo. I thought that the warranty was for parts replacement but it must only cover the sympathy if there is a problem. I'll get to eat the cost of a turbo from another source since I will stand behind the 1 year warranty that I told my customer that the turbo had. I'm not bitter about the part failing but I won't deal twice with anyone who won't honor a warranty claim. Don't make the mistake that I did.
