Text is easy to read, meter appears accurate, sturdy construction. Pretty nice for the price.

Reliable, as advertised, no frills.

Well packaged and good for the price. Using for 5 days now and performance is reliable and well within spec sheet. Voltage in from my solar field between 24v and 27.5v consistently results in 12.17V out with no fluctuation. Important notes: These have zero reverse polarity protection. Reversing polarity even a moment will fry the device, resulting in constant overheating (e.g. circuit is fried). However, this was never advertised as a feature of the device. Also, these cannot be used in parallel to increase amperage. Attempting to run in parallel will result in a voltage divider.... 2 in parallet gives 8v instead of 12v, 3 in parallel gives 5v instead of 12v, etc. If you need higher amperage purchase a single regularor of the proper amperage.

Simple and effective

Simple cable with easy hookup to any external voltage; works great on both my Macbooks. Wiring is color coded, easy hookup. The magnet is strong and works well in both directions. LED shows when power is on vs charging (e.g. one of my Macbooks has always had a dead battery, LED is different on this than the Macbook that has a battery being charged).
