an excellent fix of a foot pump with a useless adaptor; inexpensive, delivered on time
This simple GBP2 adaptor transformed my foot pump from something that didn't work because the adaptor on the hose end wouldn't hold the valve into an excellent foot pump with which I can blow the tyres up to whatever pressure I like. I had to shave down the hose a little as the diameter was too large to go through the new adaptor, but with 15 minutes work this fitted well and did the job.

very good, general purpose electronics text
I used this electronics text when I was an undergraduate in the 1970s, but subsequently sold it. I had to do some electronics design recently and bought this again, as I thought it would cover the ground that I required. The book is very comprehensible, with subjects well explained and easy to negotiate. It allowed me to do the design that I had to do, which isn't bad after more than 45 years.

Does the job at a very reasonable price
I had one of these for a few years and dropped it on the floor, but I've no reason to believe that it wouldn't have lasted a few more years at least. You need to ensure that batteries have reasonable charge (I used rechargeables even though, as I recall, it says not to do so).
When the old one was kaput, I had no reason to do anything except buy another. That's a good recommendation. Unfortunately I had to change the door press but that was a small job.
