Lost classic? Something like that!
Almost a lost classic, this collection of b-sides and anomalies bridges the gap between the first two studio albums and the unwieldy third. Highly recommended if you prefer the early Pumpkins material, Pisces Iscariot is reminiscent in tone of Alice In Chains’ Dirt and Jar Of Flies.

A friend in need's a friend indeed...
After an unsteady debut, Placebo's second album is a bit more solid. Starting off with the cracking Pure Morning and a couple of more brash numbers, Without You I'm Nothing settles into a pleasantly melancholic groove - as does their third album, Black Market Music. There are a few excellent songs but mainly it's good rather than great. Meds is still the most consistent Placebo album, but that said there's no such thing as a bad Placebo album.
