Astouding quality
This easily sounds better than my Nuprime DAC9 and my Oppo HA1. The timbre of instruments is almost scary. YOu can hear the bow striking and grinding across the srtrings on a violin, the reverbant tubbiness on an acoustic bass, and every nuance of overdrive coming from a distorted strat. Just amazing. No etchiness, and no flubbiness. Just pristine audio quality.

Excellent quality, lesser known maker
The blade was sharp right out of the box, I mean, shaving sharp. The overall finish was of high quality, and though I'm primarily using this as a letter opener/conversation piece, I expect it's durability will be rather good based on the overall tightness of the pivot points, and attention to detail. VG10 is a great steel, holds an edge very well, and I might even liken it to S30v. While I'm not a tremendous fan of the cocobolo wood, it works fine in this instance. I would have preferred some type of birdseye maple or quince wood. Nice piece, definitely worth adding to the collection.
