Remarkable Miniaturization
Marklin miniature 'Z' trains are well made and have terrific detail. The beer cars are fun because they are all European brands unfamiliar with Americans. When seeing a 'Z' train for the first time you can hardly believe it operates like any other train set because it is so small. My original set, the 'Museum Passenger Train' had only 3 cars. What I learned is that if the locomotive is pulling more than 5 or 6 cars, the locomotive's drive wheels slip on the track while in a curve and the train either slows down or stops. Still glad, however, that I have the extra beer cars for variety.

Marklin Z trains are the best.
All Marklin locomotives and cars have excellent detail.
