Best of Both Worlds
2 von 2 finden das hilfreich I looked around a good bit to find a camera with both a powerful zoom and also a sensor large enough to capture quality images. Found it! I was tired of lugging around my "rig" of lenses and camera bodies to events that didn't need all that. Voila. The Powershot G3X doesn't fit in my pocket, but it packs in my suitcase easily, or hangs around my neck with ease.
This is a point-and-shoot camera with some professional, DSLR-style features, like custom white balance, high ISO, remote firing, custom setting presets, and hotshoe.
600mm optical zoom? Yeah, I'll take that. It goes even further with a digital zoom, and I am surprised at how little quality is lost with those as well!
In short, this is awesome for photographers who know enough about what they are doing to get great use out of these features. And for those who don't, set it to auto, and get great images anyway!
