A Smashing English Who Done It
I am a dedicated Anglophile and I am always looking for a good English mystery. This novel set in London and the English country side is a nice read. The characters are well drawn and realistic. No one is too handsome or too smart. The lead character encounters problems that would actually occur if someone was trying to solve a kidnapping. He definitely has some set backs. The action is fast moving and unpredictble. I would highly recommend it and plan to read more mysteries by this author.

Cheerful Ironing
I inherited a very old wooden ironing board. It looks so beautiful with this cover. The bright colors and lovely design brighten up my laundry room. It also fits the board perfectly. It is cut very fully so it cannot slide off. Thanks for a great product!

English Cottage Interiors-No Sterile Minimalism
I live in a city in the southwestern United States. There is alot of new construction and "off the rack" interior design here. I yearn for old and quaint houses, but they are virtually non-existent. I found what I was seeking in "English Cottage Interiors". I am happy to report that there is no sterile minimalism or boring "renter white" in this elegant little book.
This is, indeed, a charming look at the interior design elements inside very old English cottages. The pictures are plentiful and illustrate an era when one's decorative accessories were either inherited or accumulated over the years. The look is one-of-a-kind, soft and romantic. Not only are the colorful pictures lovely, but the prose that accompanies the pictures greatly add to the nostalgic peek into the past. This book is filled with wonderful decorating ideas and is a treat to read.
