Speeded up my DSL from the old modem and what a price !

My ISP recently switched from 5Mbps to 10Mbps for the standard rate. I found I wasn't even getting the 5Mbps. The techs suggested changing out the modem. Of course you can pay for the ISPs modem for the rest of your life or buy one. I ended up buying three of these. One for my DSL line, a backup and one for a neighbor. They worked perfectly. I use them in the transparent mode but they also can work as a router, but not wireless.

Works. The board even came with a replacement power harness that had changed for the replacement board. Shipping time was reasonable.

Liked first one new - purchased second unit used

I purchased one new previously and now bought one used for another place. The price at Amazon had risen since my first purchase so I bought a used one at ebay this time. Good features and sound working with an entertainment center. I don't use the FM much. It's a bit complicated to configure for an old guy but working with the instructions I can get the right source connection for the input.
