  I hate to give a bad review because the teapot was well packaged, shipped quickly, and sold at a good price. However, upon filling the pot with water for testing I discovered a large hairline leak at the base, within the dark glaze where the wall and the base meet. Testing whether or not the teapot leaks before composing the description will mitigate this issue in the future.
