Great upgrade to your Collins 516F-2 power supply.
The kit is of high quality. All components are installed. No assembly is required. An onboard relay solves the problem of current surge to the radio on-off control. If you want to go 100% solid state you can buy replacements for the tubes from other vendors. Collins 516F-2 supplies came with slightly different wire colors and configurations depending on age. The included instructions carefully walk through these decision points. You are required to drill out rivets and tap holes for board mounting but the instructions specify the size drill and tap, so you can't go wrong. If you have questions, Paul is very responsive and helpful. I took my time as Paul suggest in the instructions and had no problem removing the old components and installing the new board. Initial tests of output were as per specs.
I highly recommend this board.
