Good value for its length.
Covers the creation and development in some detail. Also the various models, including carbines. Puts Martini Henry in context with other British rifles of the period and beyond. Section on bayonets. Detailed and well written portions about tactical use. Useful illustrations and photos/artwork in the tactical section.
A valuable resource for a book of medium length.

Victorian Soldier's Hankerchief
A unique copy of an early soldier's accessory. Specific to the Martini Henry, but featuring other info, such as bugle calls, Morse code, and a series of illustrated tactical suggestions for the soldier around the edges.
Printing could have been crisper in some spots, but overall acceptable.
