INTERESTING STORY ABOUT BILLY THE KID--GREAT MOVIE!
I saw this movie on TV and wanted it. Movie arrived on time and in great condition. I LOVE the piano piece Gale Storm plays in this movie. Just wish I knew the name of the piece and who wrote it! She was a very accomplished pianist. Both Gale Storm and Audie Murphy & others gave very good performances and it is a bit of a different story about Billy the Kid from what i had heard. I am very happy to own this movie!

Lark Rise to Candleford by Flora Thompson (2009, Ppbk)
I bought this book because I love the PBS series by the same name. I knew from reading other reviews prior to purchasing the book, however, that although the cover has a small inset that says, "As seen on PBS", the book is not the TV version. It is, however, EXCELLENT as a very detailed account of what life was REALLY like in the 1880's right down to the nitty gritty (i.e. what foods they ate, how their homes were built, even what their outhouses were like!) and is the basis for the PBS series. If you are a history buff or just truly interested in the details of life back then, you will love this book as I do.
I also own the DVD set of the series by the same name and one thing the producer said was how MUCH the details of this book helped them in every aspect of life back then and I can certainly see that from reading the book and then watching the show.
Would I purchase this book again? Yes, in a heartbeat! For me it further compliments the excellent PBS series.
