Not as stiff as I'd hoped
I received them in good time and they look good, but they weren't as stiff as I had expected. My previous carbon graphite reinforcement bar purchases were MUCH stiffer, but also dimensionally larger all around, so I can't make a good comparison. I was going to use in a double bass neck, but I can't imagine these being stiff enough to be worth the effort. It may be my mistake for not ordering thicker bars.

perfect for my application
I used the power hacksaw blade to make knives for instrument making. Worked great! Item just as described. Good transaction.

What I'd hoped for
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I labored over whether to get these or the ER4XR with extended low end response, and I'm very happy that I bought these. I don't get any sense the these are bass shy. In fact, I find the balance top to bottom to be extremely good. Having been a producer/engineer, I'm really happy that these don't seem hyped in any way- you simply hear what you're suppose to hear.
