No its not top end but for the money
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich This is great for the money. I have put two of them on ARs and they work well. How can you beat 8 bucks shipped. I put on a Bushnell TRS25 on both and its a great inexpensive riser.

This is not a bottom tap
Not a bottom tap its a taper tap

fixed base
The base is not a moving part. But a solid part that has to be tapped on from the end of the pic. rail. Not a good piece if you do not have the room to tap it on.
