A Beautiful Example of Engineering Finesse
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich The EJ203 Subaru Boxer engine I received is in great condition. It was very clean and I did not notice any damage except for a slight nick in the right plastic timing cover, though I can probably buff that out.The alternator and power steering pump were in decent condition, but the A/C compressor was gritty and didn't turn smoothly, probably because water got into it and corroded the internals. The accessories aren't really important though for my purposes and are just included as a "bonus", so I'm not going to zonk it for this.
I plan on rebuilding this engine, painting it to make it look great, and put it in my office as a decorative element :).

Nice to Look at, Painful to Hear
The presentation is great with the Zelda-themed box and works well as a decorative element, however, it is out of tune, especially when getting to the upper notes. I do not recommend this for playing and especially not learning as it will make you think you're playing it wrong when in fact it is the instrument. Yet because it is priced fairly low and looks quite like the one in the game, it does make a good conversation piece.

Great Keychsin for All the BoxerHeads Out There!
This is a perfect gift for anyone that is a fan of the Subaru Boxer Engine and the beauty of its design. The detail is quite accurate and captures the 1 and 2 pistons at TDC and the 3 and 4 pistons at BDC. I'm not sure if it is to scale as I have not measured it against the EJ201 engine I'm rebuilding to be a decorative element in my office. Either way, it is great!
