Excellent entertainment & a relief from the junk on television today.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich You can't go wrong with Agatha Christie. And these teleplays are wonderful. For the most part there true to the original book form. Some necessary changes needed for filming and to replace outmoded words from mid 1950's Britain. Otherwise good wholesome entertainment that's intelligent. And won't contribute to the rotting of one's brain like most of modern television today. Great for whole family viewing. Get all six series! Enjoy ;)

A Betty Crocker book actually worth keeping.
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich I have a real like/dislike for most Betty Crocker cookbooks. Most often, the recipes rely too heavily on using General Mills instant products; with Gold Medal flour being the exception. And the recipes themselves are usually very trendy and/or gimmicky as well. But this cookbook is one of the few exceptions. Betty Crocker is at "her" best when doing traditional scratch cooking. And this book follows that to the best outcome. Good, honest scratch cooking. After all, at one time General Mills had a full staff of professional Home Economists with their own department. So you knew the recipes would always work out. Every recipe in this book is a time tested and classic. And are written out in a easy to follow pattern. That even novice cooks can do with little or no problems. The Betty Crocker Old~Fashioned CookBook will earn a place on your cookbook shelf. And more importantly, will be one you'll actually use on weekly basis.

A beautiful and meaningful Catholic prayer...
A beautiful and meaningful prayer to the Holy Spirit. An important an often neglected devotion is to the Holy Spirit. And that is a real shame. But... the daily recitation of this pray will help to bring you closer to the real importance of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives!. Highly recommended.
