This comet torque converter works just l...
This comet torque converter works just like it is supposed to! Makes any go kart a GO kart! 100% genuine real life Comet TAV2 torq-a-verter. Just like the one I put on my son‘s go kart I build up for him 30+ years ago. If you don’t want a sticking centrifugal clutch, that makes a go kart unsafe, buy one of these and put it on. The mounting bolt pattern on a Harbor Freight Predator 212 engine (an excellent buy, also!) only allowed me to angle it downward so I had to make a couple mounting blocks to raise the engine of the go kart frame mount-but it works, and works perfectly. They aren’t cheap, but they’re the best!

This is NOT a genuine HONDA part, Despite listing the "genuine Honda part number"
I will take it upon myself for falling for the "genuine Honda part number" being listed; However, the "tamperproof bolts" have a pin in the center of the hex-key head opening, which is too short to stop the standard end of the hex key from turning the bolts (i.e., anyone with a standard hex key can unthread and remove the bolts in seconds; at that point, any manner of sawblade, whether in a pocket tool, hacksaw, cable saw, etc. can cut the handle, which defeats the purpose of this theft proof device. The actual handle cover appears to be as substantial as necessary, and I will not give that a bad rating. Being able to remove it so easily negates that quality, in my opinion – and I am the purchaser.
