Interesting Technology for the right circumstances
I use this router in a home office where there is no wireless signal and running Ethernet cable is out of the question. However there is a phone jack right by the computer. With this and a phoneline adapter for the computer I was able to have a highly stable home network. It works faster and is more stable than a powerline network that I had previously. Finally, it does not interfere with the DSL connection at all.
These home phoneline adapters and routers have been displaced by wireless, but they still have a niche for some applications.
