Quality build, excellent sound.
3 von 3 finden das hilfreich Give the music you love the respect it deserves. I am not new to the headphone world and have AKG K702's and Sennheiser HD650's to use as comparisons.
When I first received the B&W P7 headphones, I was immediately blown away by the design and build quality. From the sheepskin ear pads and headband to the sweeping aluminum frame, they just ooze class.
Praying that the presentation was not just for show, I put them on my head abd immediately noticed significant noise isolation..... very nice....
I tested them with a veriety of music from Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" to Skrillex's "Make it bun dem" to the haunting Ursine Vulpine's cover of "Wicked game". No matter what I threw at them, I could not pick fault on sound quality. The bass is fulland tight, the midrange and vocals are airy and crystal clear, and the highs have brightness without being harsh.
Being closed back headohones, they offer an impressive soundstage and seperation. They can make your ears a little warm in long sessions, but they are so enjoyable thst I can live with that.

Audio bliss!
4 von 5 finden das hilfreich Sennheiser have really achieved something special with the hd-600's. The comfort is outstanding, after having them on for a couple of minutes, you just forget you're wearing them.
The sound quality is just luxurious. I also own a pair of AKG K702's, which I also love. But I find that their almost maniacle clarity (not a bad thing) somehow takes away from the emotion of the music, sounding a little clinical sometimes. What I love about the HD-600's is their perfect balance between crystal clear sound and their warm timbre.

Even though they are certainly not the new kids on the block, these headphones have been the benchmark since their release and still are to this day.... and for good reason.
