Works as expected
Adequate precision and seems to deliver accurate results.
Used for photography and results match existing standards.

Problem Solved
My sophistigated Nvidia card seemd to be playing up. I bought this basic cheap model to confirm it was a problem card. Probably a dodgy power supply as the old card had its own power supply, this one does not. However, as I did not really need the fancy card I ma now using this more basic card and suffering no more problems, so possibly the power supply was over loaoding and now is not.
If you do not need fancy graphics this card does the job.

Have you ever tried taking a photo with a phone on a sunny day? Well,old digital cameras have an optical viewfinder, no problem.
