Works great! Great price too!
Was a little nervous ordering this distributor / wire set as the price was so cheap. However, I installed into my 66 mustang / 289 to replace the old points unit and it fit perfectly and fired right up! I set at 6 degrees advance at idle and then revved the engine to confirm that the mech advance was working and it works great. I then hooked up the vacuum advance to PORTED vacuum at the carb and this improved my off idle response even more. Only thing that I would change is there is one plug wire in the set that is about 6 inches too long and would have liked a shorter cable for that wire. Still works great!
