An excellent biography
With a few Bowie biographies on the market I took pot luck and tried this one. As it turns out this was a good move due to the way and format Jones writes and structures the book. A compelling read and a real insight into the rise of Bowie and the people around him.

Loved it!
A book hard to put down once started. A fascinating read of a real life in pre-Franco (just) Spain.

Not for me!
The writing feels a tad manic and festooned with his own unique terminology. Wasn’t impressed with the constant hierarchical order of power depicted within this ‘religion’. Book’s probably fine for those on the path of eckankar. Definitely not for those seeking spiritual wisdom or enlightenment outside of religion.
