Non-fading and clear.
We have a very large, densely planted garden. Because we tend to move plants around/ split them and put them in our nursery bed etc., it's easy to forget what things are when they peep through in the following year. These markers are excellent on wood stakes to remind us just what is where. Excellent.

A bit of tweaking and they're brilliant.
The size of the pockets is pretty decent, but the shims themselves are ridiculously flimsy. For the system to work, I used double-sided tape and stuck the shims onto firm cardboard. They're a good idea, but the idea needs a little fine-tuning.

Best avoided.
These were probably the worst stamps I've ever bought. Blurred and messy. I'll never be tempted to buy this make again.
