Very limited usefulness.
If the saw would have been with 1/4" more opening it could have been used to saw 1" I.D. material. As it is it can only cut material with a 1" O.D. This limits its usefulness quite a bit. It is likely headed for Habitat for Humanity because I have no use for it as it was designed.
It does seem to have built with good quality standards. If you only need a chop saw for material up to an outside diameter of 1" this will work for you. Although most of the world uses many materials with an Inside dimension of 1" and a wall thickness of 1/8" or better which sizes the material too big to be used in this machine.
