One of Anime's best soundtracks
Contains background music, songs and mini-dramas (in Japanese, of course) from my all-time favorite anime series. Most background music (BGM) would put you to sleep if you listened to it separated from the series, but not this stuff. The BGM is some of anime's best, rivaled perhaps only by 'Speed Racer'! The songs may be in Japanese, but if I like what they sound like, I don't care what language they're in. The mini-dramas are extra content for the series,but aren't very helpful unless you understand the language, or know someone who does. This disc is volume 2 of 4, with the fourth one as part of a box set collection. That's a lot of music for what was just 13 OVA episodes (2 seasons),though some of the music did cross over into 'Tenchi Universe', the TV spin-off of the series. If you're looking for good music, then I highly recommend all 3 volumes!

A true gem is revived!
With remastered picture and sound, this late eighties gem produced by Ralph Bakshi never looked better. New villains tied in with a warped sense of humor made this series an instant classic.

Not Disappointed
I bought it to get the ova & movies and I was not disappointed! The movies stuck to the anime storyline (unusual for many anime movies). If you like perverse humor, you'll love this series.
