Good, but has some issues
I like it, but it's just okay, here's why: It has the classic game play Contra is known for, plus a few new things. However, it's not perfect. The Switch version has bad frame rate issues (hopefully remedied by Switch 2), but otherwise has great visuals. Multi-player suffers from pickups flying at you too quickly, and transferring your old ones to your partner too often, which is unwanted. Overall, a nice collection piece, but it may play better on a different console.
