Fine for a book, but a Kindle isn't a book
It's a great bookmark, reading light etc for a book. You can wedge it between the pages of a book, and then it's great. But only if you're using it as a reading light for a book. An actual book. There's nowhere on a Kindle that you can attach it where it won't cover some of the page. So you have to hold it, which kind of defeats the purpose. So it doesn't do what it should, which is let you read a Kindle in the dark without having to hold a light. If you want a USB-rechargeable book light, this is perfect. If you want a USB-rechargeable clip-on light for your Kindle, buy one that has a clip. Or better yet save yourself all the hassle and get a Kindle with a backlight.
