Does the job.
If only it had arrived with the instructions it would be great. Still value and does what I bought it for. Just can't use the features.

A rare find.
I read these when they were relatively new and was surprised they were available as a collection.
They are dated and not exactly politically correct but as
The stories themselves are decent enough as crime drama but the all too human bumblings of the detective are the feature. Overall it is thgew character's humanity that makes it credible and saves it from being parody.

So nearly special.
Neil is evidently a lover of what the Welsh call y milltir sgwar, his own square mile or patch but lets his enthusiasm too loose a rein. I am close to his age and spent my school holidays in Tiger Bay and even in those few short weeks seem to have had more boyish adventures than he did living there.
Perhaps it took an outsider's eye to see just how different it was yet how much like a small mining community it could be.
