Denison Witmer is the best kept secret in North America
I am surprised that I had to order this CD from across the pond. Why isn't Denison Witmer more famous here than he is in Europe? His music is cleansing, his lyrics are poetic, and each song touches a different cord of my heart. His music kept my sanity during a difficult phase of my career. I now listen to his music and sing along whenever I could. This CD is great, even though it has to travel across the pond. It's worth it.

Lack of soul
The album is of good value when you think about getting music of 4 CDs for less than 10 dollars. However, artistic product is not evaluated by the quantity. The music itself (the singing, playing) lacks soul and expression, which runs counter to what southern gospel hymns are supposed to be.
