Phew! What an awesome international thriller!
1 von 1 finden das hilfreich The Wailing is a roller coaster of a movie. The acting is amazing and the characters really make the represented community feel absolutely real. Some situations get quite intense and disturbing but not in a gory way so it's more of a gut wrenching heart-racer than gag-reflex suppression exercise. It's scary, hilarious, sad, like I said, a roller coaster. The long run-time is more than welcome after it starts rolling. It's clearly rooted in some mystical eastern culture that is pretty much unfamiliar to me so it's extremely interesting. The scenery and colors are all beautiful and... I would highly recommend this movie.
